I've tried every way I know how to remove this virus, but the computer is unstable and still seems to be infected. The nasty bugger seems to shut down real-time virus protection, and I've tried to get it out with both Avast and Bitdefender 2011 with no luck. I even tried an online scanner in hopes of stamping it out. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. I should add that it is a relatively new Dell laptop running Win 7 Home Premium.

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.
We need to know what's running on your computer so that we can provide the appropriate instructions.

May I draw your attention to THIS topic, which you should have read, that states what we need you to post, so we can help you.
If you still need help, please start a new thread an include:
  • A HijackThis log.
  • An Uninstall list.
  • Details of the problems you're experiencing.
If for any reason you can't run HijackThis, please let us know in your post.

This thread will now be closed.
