Hi - this is the first time I'm posting anything in a forum for help with my computer (malware/spyware). A couple notes on my problem - something's making my browser automatically go to random webpages. I could be on a news page, and things seem to be fine - but then when I click a link for a news story or whatever, the new tab will go to an advertising page, etc. An example of a fake page would be "You've just won something from Wal-Mart..." (or something like that). I just uninstalled AVG and I'm now using ESET Nod 32 Anti-Virus - I thought that might get rid of it, but it hasn't. The main browser I use is Firefox - although I do have IE and Google Chrome on this computer. This is my home PC - for home use, not a business computer. Not sure what else you need to know. Thanks for the help. -Midwest_Man
