Do you remember what the error message reported?
This is not terribly serious.
At worst, you will need to Uninstall and Re-Install Steam if it doesn't work correctly.

No sorry, it was one of those windows error messages where it needs to close a programme. Think it was something to do with my pointing device (touchpad).
