Hacked FTP - Malware swiping password?

Unread postby keyaziz » December 1st, 2010, 8:28 pm

Hi, Yesterday my sites got hacked on my server resulting in iframes being put in every index page. Then my host got rid of it however they showed up again. My host said this is because when I log into my cpanel/ftp my password and username are being swiped. They said this is normally a result of the Gumblar virus and that I had malware on my computer I needed to remove before logging into my server again (they issued another password).

Anyway I am not really sure what to do as my computer has no signs of malware and my anti-virus programs haven't shown anything. In the past I have always had some sort of sign but now I fear logging into my ftp without at least making sure I don't have a problem.

I am not sure you can help but I have no clue what to do. Thank you for your time!
