Zango Malware

Hi,

I am helping someone with cleaning up their computer and I came across "Zango" in the View -> Toolbar menu of every windows explorer window. I downloaded HijackThis and did a scan. It came up with two entries, "Toolbars - ...Zango...". I deleted both of them and Zango disappeared from the toolbars menu. However, it still exists in the View -> Explorer Bar -> "Zango Information Window". I ran another scan with Hijack this and got the following log:

Windows Vista Intructions
Since you are running Windows Vista, please make sure that all of the tools that I ask you to run are run by right clicking and selecting Run as administrator. This will ensure the correct functionality of the tools with Windows Vista compatibility.

Open Hijack This and select Do a System Scan Only place a check next to the below lines if still present

O2 - BHO: WormRadar.com IESiteBlocker.NavFilter - {3CA2F312-6F6E-4B53-A66E-4E65E497C8C0} - C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG9\avgssie.dll (file missing)

Once selected close all windows except HJT an click on Fix Checked


NEXT Download and Run: RSIT

• Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
• Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
• Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
• Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<<will be maximized) and info.txt (<<will be minimized)
