That is a feature of the latest Norton product and is nothing to worry about.

and am I correct in that you are saying that the bit torrent is not to use as its the same as what the ares and limewire sites were doing?

also, just viewing porn shouldnt open up a virus am I correct? I go to some sites from time to time but do not download anything. I havent went to any since cleaning my system recently though. I want to make sure I learn alot about the stuff to just be safe about before I take a chance.

I am saying there is no safe way of downloading free music.

also, just viewing porn shouldnt open up a virus am I correct?


It shouldn't install a virus, but porn sites are known to exploit browser vulnerabilities and to use social engineering to trick the user into installing malware.

Your malware problem appears to have been resolved. The Malware Removal forum deals with removing malware. While we understand your need for information, please be aware that they are still people with malware issues, waiting for trained helpers. The link provided by your helper So How Did I Get Infected In First Place should provide a good foundation for your security inquires.

As far as your general computer software questions, there are an abundance of Computer Help forums available. I have provided links to several helpful sites below. These sites have a variety of experts, that are better equipped to answer, investigate or resolve general computer issues.
