Thanks for the quick reply Peku006. I love that I can get email notifications on my Droid (now that I have figured it out after 3 months!). If the infection is removed with the combofix, does that mean that the computer is, in fact, fixed (the windows issue notwithstanding)?

I will check into the cost of Windows XP validation vs a new PC.
