Program I did not install and cannot uninstal

Unread postby GBY204 » July 15th, 2010, 9:12 am

On July 12 I started getting warnings from Norton 360 that an intrusion from HTTP tidserv request had been blocked.

I did scans with Norton 360, Malwarebyte's anti-malware, Registry Mechanic. Norton found problems after I ran Malwarebyte. Registry Mechanic has a couple of entries that it cannot fix.

The computer (Vista Ultimate with SP) is much faster now. MY concern is that on July 12 a PROGRAM WAS LOADED ONTO MY COMPUTER AND i CANNOT GET RID OF IT.

The program is listed in Programs and Features / uninstal or Change a program.
It is listed simply as Amyuni PDF converter, no publisher and no file size. I cannot uninstal as windows syas that I do not have sufficient access to uninstall the program. I cannot find it in the Start menu, under all programs.

Any suggestions??

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.

We need to know what's running on your computer so that we can give you appropriate instructions.

May I draw your attention to THIS topic, which you should have read, and which tells you what we need you to post so that we can help you.

This thread will now be closed.

If you still need help, please start a new thread with:-
  • A HijackThis log.
  • An Uninstall list.
  • Details of the problems you're experiencing.

If for any reason you can't run HijackThis, please let us know in your post.
