satukivu.dll & peliziru.dll issues

Unread postby Cutter » April 10th, 2010, 8:54 am

I was infected with this and used superantispyaware but I am not so sure it is totally gone. My computer starts up and says that these two .dll could not be found or loaded and everytime I shut down my computer I get an Endnow program that pops up and ends before it will shut down. I do online banking and things like that online and I am leary about logging on to any of that since this happened yesterday. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hello and welcome to Malware Removal Forums

IMPORTANT

Whatever repairs we make, are for fixing your computer problems only and by no means should be used on another computer.
To make cleaning this machine easier:-
  • Continue to respond to this thread until I give you the All Clean!
  • Please DO NOT uninstall/install any programs unless asked to. It is more difficult when files/programs appear or disappear from the logs.
  • Please do not run any scans other than those requested and do not post any logs/reports unless specifically requested to do so.
  • Please follow all instructions in the order posted.
  • If you have any questions or do not understand instructions, please ask before continuing.
  • Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.

Download and run Combofix
This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.
ComboFix SHOULD NOT be used unless requested by a forum helper

Please download ComboFix from one of these locations:

Link 1
Link 2

* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop

  • Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools.
  • If you need help to disable your protection programs see here.
  • Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.
  • Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.
**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.

Image
Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:

Image
Click on Yes, to continue scanning for malware.

When finished, it will produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

If you need help, see this link:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

Please reply with:-
  • Combofix log
  • New HJT log

You appear to have been busy, your logs are a lot different to your first one.

There is quite a significant difference, obviously something was done in between the first and the last post. Did you receive help elsewhere or run other tools?

Kaspersky turned up nothing, log was blank, is that normal even if it doesnt find anything? I had my other AV (Norton) disabled when I ran it per Kaspersky instruction.

Did it produce any kind of log, even one stating nothing was found?

My computer is not having the issues it once was, having no issues at all right now actually.

Well that is good, whatever you did, obviously did the trick.

There is remnants of Mcafee on board, it might be worth your while to run their removal tool

    1. Download Mcafee's removal tool from Here
    2. Click Save and save the file to a folder on your computer.
    3. Navigate to the folder where the file was saved.
    4. Make sure all McAfee windows are closed.
    5. Double-click MCPR.exe to run the removal tool.

    6. Restart your computer after receiving the message CleanUp Successful.
Your McAfee product will not be fully removed until the system is restarted

NEXT Download and Run: RSIT

  • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<<will be maximized) and info.txt (<<will be minimized)

Please reply with:-
  • RSIT logs ( info.txt and log.txt)

I did not recieve any help elsewhere. I work from my computer and have been busy doing that, I think I may have ran the defrag tool you all recommend :| Sorry I know I wasnt supposed to do anything.

Kaspersky turned up nothing a blank log showing nothing when it was done.

Something you had me do the first time got rid of the satukivu.dll & peliziru.dll file not found at start up of my computer. I was worried that my computer may still have been compromised because that was happening, I do online bill pay on my computer and didnt want to take the chance.

Here are the logs you requested.

Due to lack of activity, this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
