Hello mbiscup
All the logs have come back clean... I don't believe your problem is malware related but more probably a corrupted user profile.

This forum is for malware removal only, not general operating system issues.
Not a Malware Issue
Your problem does not appear to be "malware" related. The Malware Removal forum deals with removing malware.
I suggest you try a PC troubleshooting forum. Links for some are provided below.
These sites have a variety of experts, that are better equipped to investigate and resolve these kinds of issues.
Registration is free, it only takes a few minutes. :)
The Elder Geek on Windows
BleepingComputer.com
WhattheTech...formerly TomCoyote

As you have stated, you are willing to delete the (Tess) profile and establish it again... I suggest you take that approach, especially since the computer is functioning as expected, otherwise. Deleting this profile and creating a new one, may indeed resolve the remaining issue you have. If not the above excellent help forums will be glad to assist.
If there are any personal photos, songs, documents, etc. in the Tess profile that are wanted, I would back them up to an external source, CD/DVD, Flash drive or other external medium, before deleting the user TESS.

If you have any malware related questions or require additional malware help, please let me know.
If not let me know you have seen this post and I will provide some final cleanup instructions and recommendations for keeping your computer more secure.

Thanks,
Wingman
