Hijack this results

Unread postby Purpleman » February 21st, 2010, 8:36 am

Hello i recently had the XP security centre 2010 virus/malware/spyware what ever it is on my PC, i currently clean my PC with Avast anti virus 2010, SpyBot Search and Destroy and CCleaner and have never had any problems until i encountered this. i scaned and scaned but couldn't get rid of it, until i came upon a forum and it told me to disable its function in tack manager, i done this and ran another scan of each and i think that it managed to get rid of it..... but i don't know that much more about PC's to be 100% confident that i got rid of it.

Last night a friend of mine told me that he had the same thing a couple of months ago and managed to find out what files to delete with the hijack this program. i don't have a clue what i'm looking at so thought it would be best if i posted the results on a forum and see what you guys could come up with.... and if infact i have got rid of it... and also if i have any other nasties hiding around that i should get rid of

any help would be most appreciated
