Antivirus Soft Virus removal

Unread postby Plus » February 4th, 2010, 10:06 pm

The program Antivirus Soft has blocked the running of programs, and is performing fake scans asking for money to remove the threats. An internet post recommended using 'hijackthis' and removing processes 'O4' with 'sysguard.exe' at the end. In my log file, these do not come up. Has the author changed the names of these files?

I saw a couple of similar posts on this site, however without a response. Any help would be terrific. The hijackthis log file is attached. I couldn't open it for a cut-and-paste.

Thanks,
Paul
