Knucklehead's "antivirus" malware problem

Unread postby Knucklehead61 » January 14th, 2010, 8:56 am

I have an application that keeps popping up on my taskbar, and it keeps asking if I want to install an antivirus program. It won't let me open anything else...says it's infected. I opened Task Mgr before the malware was able to start and task mgr stayed open, allowing me to kill a suspicious app. Then I was able to open Internet Explorer and get on here. I attached my uninstall list and the logfile (I hope...it said I did but don't see any indication it is attached.) Any help is greatly appreciated.
