Once logged into the computer, the first thing that pops up, without letting Windows load, is what appears to be a fake virus protection program warning the user about something dangerous on the system. Once this window is closed, Windows loads and then above the task bar on the lower right-hand side of the screen a popup alert will show up with the title "Safety Center" and say "SafetyCenter software managed to ?????(a part of the window is just white and you can't see all of the text) and block the attack attempt! Please ??? the instructions to get full protection." It then says to "Run registry doctor" and has a button below the window to do this. I have never clicked on this nor has anyone in my family (or at least no one is admitting it). I was told sometimes the computer will just go to an entirely blue screen and say something like "Windows has detected a problem and is terminating operations to protect the computer. If this is the first time you have received this message, reboot. If not, take measures to reduce errors." I also know that the browsers, usually just Firefox although Google Chrome has done it to me, randomly close down without warning as well. Please help me if possible. Thank you,

Nhenson

Hello and welcome to Malware Removal Forums

IMPORTANT

Whatever repairs we make, are for fixing your computer problems only and by no means should be used on another computer.
To make cleaning this machine easier:-
  • Continue to respond to this thread until I give you the All Clean!
  • Please DO NOT uninstall/install any programs unless asked to. It is more difficult when files/programs appear or disappear from the logs.
  • Please do not run any scans other than those requested and do not post any logs/reports unless specifically requested to do so.
  • Please follow all instructions in the order posted.
  • If you have any questions or do not understand instructions, please ask before continuing.
  • Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.

IMPORTANT I notice there are signs of one or more P2P (Peer to Peer) File Sharing Programs on your computer.

Azureus Vuze

I'd like you to read the MRU policy for P2P Programs.

Please go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the programs listed above (in red). Also take note that remnants of the above program/s and any other P2P program found will be removed when cleaning.

Multiple Anti-virus Programs
You are operating your computer with multiple Anti-virus programs running in memory at once:
Avira AntiVir Personal
McAfee SecurityCenter

Anti-virus programs take up an enormous amount of your computer's resources when they are actively scanning your computer. Having two anti-virus programs running at the same time can cause your computer to run very slow, become unstable and even, in rare cases, crash. Please remove one of them NOW.

While in add/removeprograms I would like you to uninstall the following:-
    LiveUpdate 2.6 (Symantec Corporation)

Once the above is done please post back a NEW HJT log

After attempting to run the anti-malware program on the computer three times. On the third time a blue screen came up with the message that ends "beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete.
Contact your system administrator or technical support group for further assistance."

Lets try a different approach!

Disable Windows Defender until the computer is clean

Windows Defender normally provides real-time protection from spyware, however it may interfere with what we need to do. We will disable it until the machine is clean when it can be re-enabled.
  • Open Windows Defender
  • Select Tools and then General Settings
  • Under Real Time Protection Options uncheck Turn on real-time protection
  • Select Save
Don't forget to re-enable it, after i tell you that your computer is clean.

Download and Run ATF Cleaner
Download ATF (Atribune Temp File) Cleaner© by Atribune to your desktop.
Make sure that all browser windows are closed.

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
    Under Main choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser,To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Open Hijack This and select Do a System Scan Only place a check next to the below lines if still present

    O1 - Hosts: ::1 localhost
    O1 - Hosts: 91.212.127.227 antiviraprof2009.com

O23 - Service: Time Service (Time) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mlsdf8hwvqlgcxtok.exe (file missing)

Once selected close all windows except HJT an click on Fix Checked

Download and run Combofix
This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.
ComboFix SHOULD NOT be used unless requested by a forum helper

Please download ComboFix from one of these locations:

Link 1
Link 2

* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop

  • Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools.
  • If you need help to disable your protection programs see here.
  • Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.
  • Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.
**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.

Image
Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:

Image
Click on Yes, to continue scanning for malware.

When finished, it will produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

If you need help, see this link:

Please update me on computer next post!

Open Hijack This and select Do a System Scan Only place a check next to the below lines if still present

    O23 - Service: Print Spooler Service (SpoolSvc213) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\cjnr4r4dzuo.exe (file missing)
O23 - Service: Time Service (Time) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mlsdf8hwvqlgcxtok.exe (file missing)

Once selected close all windows except HJT an click on Fix Checked

NOTE Make sure Mcaffe and Windows defender are disabled before running Combofix.

COMBOFIX-Script
A word of warning: Please do not run ComboFix on your own. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.

  • Please open Notepad (Start -> Run -> type notepad in the Open field -> OK) and copy and paste the text present inside the code box below:

    Code: Select all
    File::
    c:\program files\Common Files\huzafytir.bin
    c:\program files\Common Files\ykeby.sys
    c:\program files\Common Files\jaxyvav.bin
    c:\program files\Common Files\suxatot.dll

    Driver::
    SpoolSvc213
    Time
    WTime

    Registry::
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal\Time]

    [HKLM\~\services\sharedaccess\parameters\firewallpolicy\standardprofile\GloballyOpenPorts\List]
    "20120:TCP"=-
    "20120:UDP"=-

  • Save this as CFScript.txt and change the "Save as type" to "All Files" and place it on your desktop.

    Image
  • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before following the steps below. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
  • If you need help to disable your protection programs see here.
  • Referring to the screenshot above, drag CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe.
  • ComboFix will now run a scan on your system. It may reboot your system when it finishes. This is normal.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Copy and paste the contents of the log in your next reply.

CAUTION: Do not mouse-click ComboFix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

Please reply with:-
  • Combofix log
  • New HJT log

Due to lack of activity, this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
