Help please. I think my computer is infected with something.

I started having problems when I went to a video streaming site. I'm using avast! Antivirus and it popped up a warning so I closed down the window. But maybe half an hour later I got a pop up of a "antivirus scanner" which I assumed was some kind of malware so I closed that down too. maybe another hour later I got online again and in about five minutes my browser crashed and a message popped up telling me about how my DEP was blocking something or another I don't remember exactly what it said. I ran a Malwarebytes quick scan and CCleaner already and am currently doing a full scan.
