HijackThis log - Antivirus System Pro removal

Unread postby thedougster » November 12th, 2009, 10:17 am

Hi
I have the "Antivirus System Pro" virus and have been unable to remove it.
Most of the instructions I have found regarding removing this virus reference files that
I am unable to find on my computer.
When I try to run applications most of the time I get "Application cannot be executed. The file *** is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?". If I try repeatedly eventually I can get the application to run. I also continue to get warnings from the system tray from "Antivirus System Pro" that I am unprotected. After many struggles I was able to get the hijack log below.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Doug
