Phil,
Please re-enable your Norton right away, if you haven't already.
You can restart Defender by looking in All Programs and starting Windows Defender again.
-----------------------------------------------------------
  • Click START then RUN
  • Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK. Note the space between the Combofix and the /u
    • Image
  • When shown the disclaimer, Select "2"
The above procedure will :
  • Remove Un-needed tools and perform some cleanup housekeeping.
  • Set a new, clean System Restore Point.
