WIN2K - Malwarebytes v1.41 will not run

Unread postby ItGuy52 » September 21st, 2009, 11:57 am

User complained their WIN2K PC no longer would connect to any Internet site after they had gone to some unknown site.
Virus/malware was suspected, so installed Malwarebytes 1.41 from a USB drive.
Install was normal, but Malwarebytes would/does not run.
No error message.
Also tried running Malwarebytes in Safe Mode, but it still would not run. No error messages.
Any assistance/recommendations for what to try as the next step would be appreciated.
Thanks!
