win32/cryptor - cannot delete registry entries

Unread postby martinstephen » May 25th, 2009, 8:08 pm

Hi,

Have Win32/Cryptor on kids laptop running Vista 32.

Have managed to get rid of many other problems using various programs and much time but unable to delete certain ones that are identified by malwarebytes that i believe are the issue , but are not picked up by these other programs.
AVG Resident Shield detects only Cryptor and is useless.

The problem is that the identified registry keys etc. or other programs and files do not delete on reboot after running malwarebytes in either normal user or safe mode and cannot be deleted manually.

Can anyone help me force deletion?

Here follows log of malwarebytes and hijack this:

Hi martinstephen

To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:

1. Start HijackThis
2. Click on the Config button
3. Click on the Misc Tools button
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.

You will now be presented with a screen similar to the one below:

Image

5. Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here on your next reply.

Due to lack of response this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
