Hello everyone.

Well, it started a few days ago. I would type in a search in google and when clicking on a link, it would direct me to a different site. I have tried AVG 8.5 and it is not picking up anything. I have installed and ran Avira and it found a few virus's but the problem seems to be getting worse

I have installed Malwarebytes and Spybot but after installation, it either hangs / doesnt update or run at all. Now it has gotten to the point when I try exploring my C drive I get this msg

Windows cannot find Recycler / s-7-2-72

I have tried restarting in Safe Mode but hitting F8 at startup doesnt seem to be working !

Please help if u can....I am a bit new to this so bear with me ?

• Open HijackThis.
• Look under System tools.
• Click on the Open Uninstall Manager... button.
• Click on the Save list... button.
• It will prompt you to save. Save this log in a convenient location. By default it's named uninstall_list.txt.
• Notepad will open. Please copy and paste the contents of this log in your next reply.

Remove one of your Anti Virus programs.
You are operating your computer with multiple Anti Virus programs running in memory at once:
AVG8
Avira

Anti-virus programs take up an enormous amount of your computer's resources when they are actively scanning your computer. Having two anti-virus programs running at the same time can cause your computer to run very slow, become unstable and even, in rare cases, crash.

Please remove one of them.


Download and run Combofix
We will begin with ComboFix.exe. Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running the tool:
This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.
ComboFix SHOULD NOT be used unless requested by a forum helper

Ensure you have disabled all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
