Browser won't follow correct links, and I am unable to install malwarebytes or spybot. Thank you very much for your help.

If there is a reason I didn't receive any help, I would like to know. Other than that I have decided to reformat and install linux.

You have not received help because our response time is averaging longer than the time you were able to wait. If you look around the Malware Removal room, you will see that there are topics older than yours. It's unfortunate, but the current proliferation of malware makes it impossible for us to have a faster response time.
