OK I can't post anything with the hijack as I can't download it .

Yesterday I downloaded & installed Stardock Windowblinds 6.3 . After that my computer is ALL messed up . I'm blocked out of almost all my programs & all my files , like my pictures , my documents , & all the others I have . I tried going to add/remove to remove it , but it won't let me . I have tried doing a system restore , but did no good . I can't go to safe mode & remove it as I can't get to safe mode . And now I can't download anything it says access denied .

Can someone PLEASE help ? :( :( :(

Unfortunately, in order for us to help you it is necessary that you provide us with a HijackThis log. A HijackThis log, as well as other logs that may be requested, provide us with a guideline for removing whatever malware is infecting your system, if this is indeed a malware issue. We cannot proceed without such logs for guidance.

If this is a malware issue, and you are unable to download files and/or create and post a HijackThis log, then your only option may be to reformat your computer and reinstall the operating system. If your problem is caused by something other than malware, then it would be better for you to seek help at a general troubleshooting forum such as can be found at What the Tech.

This topic is now closed. If you should later become able to download files, please start a new topic by following the HijackThis Guideline posted here: >Guideline for posting your HijackThis log<
