Hi,

Please see my post of about 20 minutes earlier.

Sorry, I forgot that earlier I had used a programme called Uniblue to scan my system, it reported that I had about 400 problems & offered to remove 15 for free. Stupidly I did this, however I did take a back up fists. I have now restored the Back up and now I have re ren the Hijackthis scan again, and here are the results.

Best Regards

JR

The following information was taken from the aforementioned previous post which has been archived:

Hi,
I frequently get error messages when I attempt to shut down an episode of internet explorer, saying that " Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and has to close" at this point each episode of internet explorer that I am running will close.

Today I was attempting to upload a picture onto ebay, and every time I uploaded it, I could see the picture arrive in the advert but then the explorer error message came up before I was allowed to save the upload. I also received a message saying that "toolband.dll" was running when the problem was encountered.

I have Malware Bytes Anti Malware installed, I have updated it today and ran a detailed scan but that has not alerted me to any problems.

My system is XP home edition 2002 service pack 3.

Please see my Hijack this log below. Please advise if you can assist.

Note the Lexmark printer is currently not connected.

Many Thanks

Due to lack of response this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
