trojan detected--please help

Unread postby kado08 » September 13th, 2008, 1:50 pm

I am new to this forum so I hope that I am sendin the info in the proper format. A few days ago, my compuer detected through McAfee nightly scan a virus that it attempted to remove. The first problem that I had was all of my attempts on iternet explorer to surf the web were re-routed to different sites. I then received a message saying my computer was infected--the message which appeared to be fake. Now I get a message everytime I restart the computer stating that I should accept a XP antivirus virus protection, which I do not do. I also ran Adaware, AVG, Spybot search and destroy and Malaware to attempt to get rid of the issues, and they all come back with trojan/virus detection but they cannot get rid of any of the issues. I do have access to Outlook but it is limited, so I gave my work email address for this forum so I can attempt to work with you. I am running Windows XP. Please let me know what additional info you require and I truly appreciate any support you can provide. I look forward to getting your response backw ith assistance. Here is a copy of the hijack this log from earlier this AM.
