Unread postby keekeemama30 » August 12th, 2008, 9:47 pm

although i have avg and avast and 3 or 4 spyware programs, my pc is a mess
i have tons of trojans everyday
someone or thing named soundman.exe tries to change my registry about 6 times a day
my pc shuts down all by itself occasionally
i have a virus called win32/virut, sdbot, vundo, backdoor.bot
although i run my virus programs, they seem to find the viruses and i delete, fix or put them in a vault they are always coming back
when i boot the pc i get theser errors
error loading c:/widowssystem32/yntadtqb.exedll
and
windows cant find c:/windows/sys32/ashdsp

if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it
p.s. if you didn't already realize it, i know nothing about computers

Unfortunately it looks like that your windows is not legit and therefore I can't provide any further assistance.

You are welcome to come back when you have legit windows.

If you feel that you weren't aware of this, I can give links to Microsoft where to complain.

well i bought this computer off of craigslist for $150 about 3 months ago from a dude who repairs computers and sells used comps, so i am not surprised, i will have to take care of that asap, if i download a genuine version of windows, will that remove the worms on the old version?, do i have to remove the fake version of windows manually or will downloading the real version(once i buy it of course) remove the old version, i hope to buy it today, and take care of this asap

Due to Lack of Response this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
