Below is my hijackthis.log. We have been having problems with my network. My computer is very slow, and I cannot print most of the time. If I try to view and print from a PDF it takes forever. I also keep falling off the Network Domain. Any help would be great. My spyware and virus software finds new trojans on my system almost everyday.

HijackThis logs can take some time to research, so please be patient with me. I know that you need
your computer working as quickly as possible, and I will work hard to help see that happen.

Please be patient and I'd be grateful if you would note the following:
  • I will working be on your Malware issues, this may or may not, solve other issues you have with your machine.
  • The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
  • Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine appears to be clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.
  • It's often worth reading through these instructions and printing them for ease of reference.
  • If you don't know or understand something, please don't hesitate to say or ask!! It's better to be sure and safe than sorry.
  • Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.

Please note: All of my posts need to be checked by a teacher, so please be patient while I attempt to remove your malware.

Make an uninstall list using HijackThis
To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:
  • Start HijackThis
  • Click on the Config button
  • Click on the Misc Tools button
  • Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
  • Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Save the file to your desktop.

Hello,

  • Right click on Spysweeper icon near the clock and select Shields.
  • Select the Web Browser tab. Uncheck (untick) all the boxes there.
  • Select the Network tab. Uncheck (untick) all the boxes there.
  • Select the Windows System tab. Uncheck (untick) all the boxes there.
  • Select the Startup tab. Uncheck (untick) Startup items box.
  • Select the Email Attachments tab. Uncheck (untick) Email Attachments* box.
  • Right click on Spysweeper icon and select Shutdown.

  • Go to Start > All Programs > Windows Defender.
  • Click on Tools at the top.
  • Under Settings, click on Options.
  • Under Automatic scanning, uncheck (untick) Automatically scan my computer (recommended) box.
  • Under Real-time protection options, uncheck (untick) Use real-time protection (recommended) box.
  • Click on the Save button at the bottom right hand corner.

Stop some processes with Task Manager
Press Control+Alt+Del to enter the Task Manager.
Click on the Processes tab and end the following processes (if present):

OY74F8.EXE

Exit the Task Manager when finished.

Run CCleaner

Click Here to download the latest version of CCleaner.

CCleaner will remove everything from the temp/temporary folders but please note that it will not make back ups!
  • Before first use, select Options > Advanced and UNCHECK Only delete files in Windows Temp folder older than 48 hours
  • Then select the items you wish to clean up.
    • In the Windows Tab:
      • Clean all entries in the Internet Explorer section except Cookies
      • Clean all the entries in the Windows Explorer section
      • Clean all entries in the System section
      • Clean all entries in the Advanced section
      • Clean any others that you choose
    • In the Applications Tab:
      • Clean all except cookies in the Firefox/Mozilla section if you use it
      • Clean all in the Opera section if you use it
      • Clean Sun Java in the Internet Section
      • Clean any others that you choose
  • Click the Run Cleaner button.
  • A pop up box will appear advising this process will permanently delete files from your system.
  • Click OK and it will scan and clean your system.
  • Click exit when done.
  • If it asks you to reboot at the end, click NO
CCleaner should be run with the above settings for each User Account!

Remove bad HijackThis entries
  • Run HijackThis
  • Click on the Scan button
  • Put a check beside all of the items listed below (if present):

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] C:\WINDOWS\system32\dumprep 0 -k
    O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present


    Don't check the line in red if YOU set those restrictions.

  • Close all open windows and browsers/email, etc...
  • Click on the "Fix Checked" button
  • When completed, close the application.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and save to your desktop.

  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to:

    Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform Full scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please copy and paste the log back into your next reply

    Note:
  • The log can also be found here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt
  • Or via the Logs tab when Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is started.

On your next reply, please post a new hijackthis log and the MBAM log.

No I still need help. I will do what you asked today. My user name somehow got disconnected from the domain again. So, I had to call my IT people to rebuild my user account for our domain on the server.

Three day bump


It has been three days since my last post.
  • do you still need help with this?
  • do you need more time?
  • are you having problems following my instructions?
  • if after 48hrs you have not replied to this thread then it will have to be closed!

My computer crashed. I have had two IT guys in with degrees and they said the problem is in the registry and cannot be repaired. This will be the third time in the last six months I have had to rebuild my system. So thanks, I will wait untill the next time my computer asks crazy and contact you all. So, maybe in a few weeks.
