Hijack Log

Unread postby beanhunter91 » February 17th, 2008, 3:28 pm

Hey Guys.

I've been having some issues, random pop ups telling me that I have a virus and offering me links to "free antivirus programs." My screen resolution is randomly reset to weird settings. My browser's home page is randomly reset to different sites, I get "fatal error" message popping up all the time, with a bunch of jibberish in the error code. the machine is running extremely slow overall and struggles to perform simple tasks. I ran ad-aware and mcafee and found a few small usual things but nothing big and nothing resolving. I am trying to download SpyBot and AVG Free but am lagging so bad that I'm having problems downloading and installing them. Here's my Hijack log, please review.

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)

Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe.
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

**If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C:), and launch from there.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
