Malware removal

Unread postby dlsilver » February 10th, 2008, 7:22 pm

Hi all
Please find attached a logfile. After a few hours of very amateur attempts, I can't get rid of what I think is malware. I get dialogue boxes coming up saying that I have a Trojan which I imagine will lead me to a download site for some supposed anti-malware software that I can buy... I think the problem got onto my machine through trying to download what looked like an activeX update but wansn't... I have looked 'How to get rid of IE Defender of Files Secure' post on lavasoft, but that didn't really help as I don't have the same entries in my log file as any of those listed.
Thanks for any assistance you can give.
Dan S
