Hi, I am getting when I start my pc a problem regarding freezes. When I go into my docs or one of my drives or most things really, these areas tend to freeze on my part way between 10 and 20 secs and then they work ok, can anybody tell me what is the prob or is there anything I can download to remedy? I have tried chkdsk but to avail. Do I have to send log on each new topic? Thank you. :oops:

Hi podlod,
Do you use both Nero Backitup and Norton Ghost? They are both running as startups.

NMIndexingService.exe is a service used by Ahead Nero to index the media files on your computer into an internal database. This index can then be used to quickly find your media. Do you use it?

How about the Logitech desktop Messenger? Installed with the software for Logitech products. Automatically checks for software upgrades AND new products, services and special offerings from Logitech. Do you want it to run automatically?

About the burn4free toolbar: http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/burn4free.html (popups and adware)
Go to My Computer, right click the C: drive and choose Properties.
Please record what it reports for Used space and free space on the drive and report that back in your next post, along with the requested info about each of the applications mentioned above.
