Hi Boognish

It looks like you are running two Internet Security Suites, Symantec and McAfee.

Anti-virus programs and Internet Security Suites take up an enormous amount of your computer's resources when they are actively scanning your computer.
Having two anti-virus or Internet Security Suites programs running at the same time can cause your computer to run very slow, become unstable and even crash.
Please disable one of the real time protection on one of the AV or Internet Security Suites programs.

Now please go to your C drive, then Program Files and find the Trend Micro Folder, double click to open, then open the Highjackthis folder inside,
Find HijackThis, right click on it and rename it to "seemenow", close all windows.

1 Please download >>ComboFix<< by sUBs:
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply, along with a new HJT Log

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Hi Boognish,

You are running a P2P filesharing programme.
uTorrent and LimeWire

  • Many of these programmes come with unwanted components bundled with them.
  • If you wish to find out whether the one you're using does click here.

Please note: Even if you are using a "safe" P2P programme, it is only the programme that is safe.
You will be sharing files from uncertified sources, and these are often infected. The bad guys use P2P filesharing as a major conduit to spread their wares.
I'd like you to read the Guidelines for P2P Programs where we explain why it's not a good idea to have them
http://www.malwareremoval.com/forum/viewtop ... e3e96420cc

My recommendation is you uninstall it.

Regards to the Symantec and McAfee, which one do you want to keep, let me know in your next post

Open up Hijackthis
Click on do a system scan only.
Place a checkmark next to these lines(if still present)

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = <http://softwarereferral.com/jump.php?wmid=6010&mid=MjI6Ojg5&lid=2>
O2 - BHO: MSVPS System - {88418AA3-16F5-4FC2-A9D8-90B1266DF841} - C:\WINDOWS\nsduo.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A95B2816-1D7E-4561-A202-68C0DE02353A} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\zkyleqep.dll
O3 - Toolbar: The nssfrch - {61AB8A39-FCCB-47CC-BAF3-750D1834E773} - C:\WINDOWS\nssfrch.dll (file missing)
O3 - Toolbar: Security Toolbar - {11A69AE4-FBED-4832-A2BF-45AF82825583} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\zkyleqep.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: zkyleqep - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\zkyleqep.dll
O21 - SSODL: msmhost - {01977CFC-DD82-4F8B-A96F-E9A9862CF7CC} - C:\WINDOWS\msmhost.dll
O21 - SSODL: msmdev - {35C4DF71-41EE-47A3-A6A8-5C774C8DFFBF} - C:\WINDOWS\msmdev.dll

Then close all windows except Hijackthis and click Fix Checked

  • NOW, please open Notepad (Start -> Run -> type notepad in the Open field -> OK) and copy and paste the text present inside the code box below:

    Code: Select all
    File::
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\zkyleqep.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\infurnch.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\tisnudur.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\llfanatv.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\schmegxn.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\ocgrep.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\movctrlknq.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\bxsbang.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\kthemup.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\0F92CD626F.sys
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\zkyleqep.dllbox

    Registry::
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\~\Browser Helper Objects\{A95B2816-1D7E-4561-A202-68C0DE02353A}]
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\~\Browser Helper Objects\{AC546B33-036A-41DA-B1CC-C1D15659520E}]
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\winlogon\notify\zkyleqep]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\currentcontrolset\control\lsa]
    "jkhfg.dll"=-

  • Save this as CFScript.txt and change the "Save as type" to "All Files" and place it on your desktop.

    Image
  • Referring to the screenshot above, drag CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe.
  • ComboFix will now run a scan on your system. It may reboot your system when it finishes. This is normal.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Copy and paste the contents of the log in your next reply.

CAUTION: Do not mouse-click ComboFix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)

Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe.
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

**If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C:), and launch from there.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/proc...processutil.htm

Please post the Combofix Log, SmitfraudFix Log and a new HJT Log, and say which AV you wish to keep.

Please print out or copy these instructions/tutorial to Notepad as the internet will not be (while in Safe Mode) available to you at certain points of the removal process. [/b]
Make sure to work through all the Steps in the exact order in which they are listed below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before moving on with the fixes.

Download the trial version of AVG Anti-Spyware from here and install it.
When the program has been installed, and you click the Finish button, AVG Anti-Spyware will open.

If the program does not automatically update itself during installation, or you are unsure whether it has done so, please do the following:
  • Click the Update icon at the top and under Manual Update click the Start update button.
  • The program will either update or inform you that no update was available.
  • It is essential that you get the update - keep trying until successful. (Note: If you have problems getting the update, you can download an installer for the full database from here (save it on your desktop).
Once you have downloaded the installer, make sure that AVG Anti-Spyware is closed and then double-click on avgas-signatures-full-current.exe to install the database).
Please set up the program as follows:
  • Click the Shield icon at the top and under Resident shield is... click active. This should now
    change to inactive.
  • Click the Update icon and untick the automatic update option.
  • Click on Scanner on the toolbar.
  • Click on the Settings tab.
    • Under How to act? - make sure that Quarantine is selected.
    • Under How to scan? - All checkboxes should be ticked.
    • Under Possibly unwanted software - All checkboxes should be ticked.
    • Under Reports - Select Do not automatically generate reports.
    • Under What to scan? - Select Scan every file.
Close all open windows.
