Hi and welcome to MR Forum. :)

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately, you have multiple infections, the most dangerous of which is Win32.RBot with backdoor capabilities. This gives intruders complete control of your computer, logging key strokes, stealing information, etc. :(
You are strongly advised to do the following immediately!:
  • Disconnect infected computer from the internet and from any networked computers until the computer can be cleaned.
  • Call all of your banks, credit card companies, financial institutions and inform them that you may be a victim of identity theft and to put a watch on your accounts or change all your account numbers.
  • From a clean computer, change *all* of your online passwords -- for ISP login, email, banks, financial accounts, PayPal, eBay, online companies, and any online forums or groups you belong to.
      Do NOT change passwords or do any transactions while using the infected computer because the attacker will get the new passwords and transaction information.
Because of its backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure it can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of Trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. However, if you do not have the resources to reinstall your OS and would like me to attempt to clean your machine, I will be happy to do so.

To help you make a more informed decision, please read the following articles:

Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask

Hi,

First of all you are running HijackThis from a temporary folder. It needs to run from a permanent directory in its own folder. Please do this: Click on the Windows key and the E key on your keyboard. This will bring up your Windows Explorer.
On the left side:
Click on the + next to My Computer
Click on the + next to C: drive
Click on the + next to Documents and Settings
Click on the + next to Compaq User
Click on the + next to Local Settings
Click on the FOLDER named Temp.
On the right side, double click on the Folder named RAR$EX00.660 to open it.
Right click on the HJT icon and choose Copy from the menu.
Now, again in the left side, scroll up to/click on the C:\ drive and in the right side in an empty spot, right-click...choose new...Folder from the menu. Name the Folder HJT
Again, right click on the new HJT folder, choose Paste from the menu. This will paste HJT into a permanent folder in C.

==========================================

Go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and remove the following. It's foistware:

Power Scan

Then, using Windows Explorer (right click on start, click on explore), navigate to the following folder and delete it if still there.

C:\Program Files\Power Scan

==========================================

Download SDFix to your Desktop.

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
  • Choose your usual account.
  • Click on SDFix.exe to begin the cleanup process.
  • It will remove any Trojan Services or Registry Entries found then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
  • Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
  • When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
  • Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt.
  • Finally copy and paste the contents of the results file Report.txt back onto the forum with a new HijackThis log.

=================================

Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
Extract all the files to your Destop. A folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

===========================================

Please post back SDFix Report.txt, Smitfraud rapport.txt and a Fresh HijackThis log.

Hmm.. I got that from your log:

C:\DOCUME~1\COMPAQ~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX00.062\HijackThis.exe

Never mind that, just do the following then.
Please Click on HERE to download a self extractable version of hijackthis. Double click on hijackthis.exe to extract hijackthis to folder c:\hijackthis. It will extract it to that folder and open the folder for you. It will also create a shortcut on your desktop to hijackthis.

Hi,

Let's continue. I am still seeing Power Scan in your log. Did you not remove it?

Please print out these instructions as the internet will not be (while in Safe Mode) available to you at certain points of the removal process. Make sure to work through all the Steps in the exact order in which they are listed below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before moving on with the fixes. In Safe Mode you may not be able to see all of your desktop. Use Windows Explorer (right click on Start, click on Explore) to navigate to your desktop if needed.

Please download AVG Anti-Spyware to your Desktop or to your usual Download Folder.
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
  • Install AVG Anti-Spyware by double clicking the installer.
  • Follow the prompts. Make sure that Launch AVG Anti-Spyware is checked.
  • On the main screen under Your Computer's security.
    • Click on Change state next to Resident shield. It should now change to inactive.
    • Click on Change state next to Automatic updates. It should now change to inactive.
    • Next to Last Update, click on Update now. (You will need an active internet connection to perform this)
    • Wait until you see the Update succesfull message.
  • Right-click the AVG Anti-Spyware Tray Icon and uncheck Start with Windows.
  • Right-click the AVG Anti-Spyware Tray Icon and select Exit. Confirm by clicking Yes.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.
AVG Anti-Spyware manual updates.
Download the Full database to your Desktop or to your usual Download Folder and install it by double clicking the file. Make sure that AVG Anti-Spyware is closed before installing the update.

==============================================

Please download Ccleaner and save it to your desktop.
Tutorial for CCleaner
During the installation be sure to UN-check the box for "Ccleaner Yahoo Toolbar" unless you want it

================================================

Please download Nailfix.zip

" Save the file to your desktop.
" Unzip Nailfix.zip to extract the files it contains.
" Do not do anything with it yet. You will run the Nailfix.cmd file later in safe mode.
==================================================

Download & Install Ad-aware SE© by Lavasoft
Close ALL windows except Ad-Aware SE.
Click on the 'world' icon at the top right of the Ad-Aware SE window and let AdAware SE update the reference list for the adware and malware.

===============================================

Make sure that you can see hidden files

" Select the View Tab
" Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders
" Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option
" Click Yes to confirm
" Click OK
** These files are hidden to stop you accidentally removing something important.
It is advisable to hide them again after fixing your computer. **

===============================================

Reboot your computer in Safe Mode using the F8 method below.
a. If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off the power.
